1979 Ludwig Acrolite 14x5"

Blue & Olive curved edged badge, with serial #2053515, dating it to 1979.

These drums need no introduction. They are my favourite snare around.

This one comes freshly stripped, cleaned and polished, fitted with brand new Remo Vintage Ambassador and Ambassador snare side heads and Puresound Custom Pro Steel 24 strand wires retailed at well over £50. The tension rods are also brand new.

This Acrolite has scratches on the shell (to be expected; these drums came in awful cases which were used to carry a snare stand and sticks around in). One of the notable scratches seems to be an '03' or 'MP' by the butt end. See pics for condition. This being said the hardware is in really great condition, with original P85 strainer, round knob dampener and butt end.

There's a few knocks/scratches in the edges but this doesn't have any effect on the drums performance.

She comes ready to start a new life and be gigged or recorded once again.
