Sep 17 1970 Ludwig Acrolite 14x5"

Date stamped Sep 17 1970, although after cleaning the interior of the shell, the date stamp is now a little faded since being photographed.

70's Blue & Olive badge, the first of its kind, with no serial number. The shell is more of a 60's shell, and must be one of the last of the 'shiny' finishes before the matt finished 1970's ones. I can't say I've seen another of these around badged with a B&O badge.

Drum has been stripped, cleaned, checked and polished; and fitted with Evans G1, 300 hazy heads and Puresound Custom Pro wires.

The strainer is one of the first P85's with 12 hole front and works as it should. Original internal damper and butt end too.

Both hoops are brand new.

There is a little glue residue on the interior of the shell, perhaps from an old dealer sticker.

There are scratches on the shell, and pitting on the lugs, but overall it shines nicely. There is a slight dent mark on the batter side edge but doesn't seem to affect its tuning.

Worldwide shipping is available at checkout.
