Early 1940s WFL 'Professional Paramount 14x7" in original Blue & Silver Duco Lacquer
Legendary 3-ply shell - mahogany (inner), poplar, maple (outer) with maple re-rings.
All original nickel over brass hardware including Zephyr lugs, double flanged hoops, tension rods and butt end.
The strainer photographed in the catalogs is different to what is fitted here, but there is no extra holes. The strainer is original to the drum, it just doesn't match up with what the catalog says, but thankfully, the other strainer usually fitted is terrible, so this is a good thing. I have attached a few catalog scans for your reference from 1941.
The nickel plating has signs of aging (to be expected) and in some places it has worn away.
These old WFL drums, especially in this size, don't often crop up. I'm glad to have this up for grabs for a lucky buyer!

Fitted with brand new Remo Vintage Ambassador and Ambassador Hazy heads with brand new Puresound Concert 12-strand wires.
