Late 60s/Early 70s Ludwig Standard 'S-330' 22x14", 12x8" and 16x16" in Blue Strata
Late 60s/Early 70s Ludwig Standard 'S-330' 22x14", 12x8" and 16x16" in Blue Strata
This is a truly delightful kit.
The Ludwig Standard range was introduced in 1968 to compete with budget Japanese kits of the time, but these shells are the same legendary shells as all the other Ludwig ranges of the time but with different hardware which must have been cheaper to make. The strata finishes were only available on the Standard range and are unbelievably classy! Very unique drums and certainly not budget.
This set original came to me as a four piece, but the 13” unfortunately had irreparable structural issues.
