1960-63 Ludwig Super-Ludwig 400 Chrome over Brass 14x5"

This is the legendary heavy chrome over brass shell with signature crimped snare beds and chrome over brass hoops too!

These are wonderful drum and although this example has seen some use, it is a legendary snare drum.

Pre-serial Keystone badge dates it to circa 1960-63.

This drum comes with original hardware including P83 strainer & butt, internal muffler and COB hoops. 3x tension rods aren’t original.

The drum is not shy of signs of aging, scuffs and minor dents.

This is the studio and live snare to have! As used by many for decades. The Rolls Royce of metal snares. It sounds delicious.
